Does mold change colors if you put any kind of plaster or wall paint over it?
We had a leak in the ceiling and it damaged the whole entire wall, and made the wallpaper bubble up. Its been like this for ATLEAST 6 months, there has to be mold. Our landlord FINALLY decided to fix the problem and hired someone very unprofessional. He didnt fix the wall or mold problem he just covered it up with plaster and paint, now the plaster turned purple in parts, like purple circles and blotches. Could this be the mold showing up? Thanks for the help guys!
Absolutely that could be the mold showing up. Pourus items like drywall or plaster need to be completely removed once they have mold damage. They cannot be properly cleaned or re mediated. Covering up the problem will not do anything. Think of it like this. You can fit millions of mold spores on a single tip of a pen. Think how many mold spores you have when you can see it coming through layers of drywall mud.

Gypsum is one of the most important retail industry construction, but also one of the most misunderstood. Many people believe that the casting is done by artists and designers. If a designer can make simple plaster repairs or perhaps even a plaster wall, you do not have the ability to depth and experience as a bricklayer qualified.
There are lots of different types of plaster available plasterer experiened only understand the advantages and disadvantages of each product.
What is cast?
It is the simplest, the plaster is a means of strengthening and sealing the walls of a house with a cement or Lime-based products designed to dry quickly. Even shortening the statement does not provide a complete picture of the repeal, however, it can be used for a variety of other purposes too.
Multipurpose Plaster
Although the initial objective was to strengthen the plaster walls and prevent time to penetrate inside a house, meaning that it has become both an art and a level of an art form. On the one hand, gypsum is the final touch to what the carpenter has started. In essence, the plasterer creates a hard layer around the wooden walls of the house. Because the properties of gypsum, however, many plasterers are able to create decorative plaster molds unique. This in itself is part of the casting process.
If we look in a plaster wall, you see that it is much more than a wall with a dry substance smeared on it. Instead, you notice a bit of texture and training took place. You may also notice that the plastering technique was different in the roof that was on the walls. It's all part of the jurisdiction of the casting.
Make it look easy
One many misconceptions about casting is as simple as that. It is actually far from the truth. There is much to know about how to plaster including what kind of voting for the use of a particular area, the thickness of the spread of plaster and how to make drawings on the right. If this is something that almost anyone can learn how it is best to consult an expert and perhaps take a course before you go to cast their own draft font. This way, you'll be sure to know the proper techniques before you begin.
