I can't figure this out any help?
Govenor of Michigan (where the race is) declared flags at half-staff in honor of Michigan Navy man killed in action.

Why Lopez Lomong One of the lost boys of Sudan has been flying the flag of the United States during the Olympics opening ceremonies
The Olympics have started and one of the most interesting stories for the American team was that the athletes have chosen as flag bearer for the opening ceremony. Quietly could have chosen someone like Michael Phelps and Kobe Bryant, but chose target = "_blank" title = "Lopez Lomong"> Lopez Lomong. Lomong was a runner, and should participate in the race 1500 meters.
Lomong was born in Sudan and is one of the children "Sudan lost. "The Lost Boys are a group of about 3,800 refugees from Sudan who were brought from Sudan to the United States 2001. Only about 100 refugees were women. Both were separated from their parents or orphaned. The Lost Boys are distributed in cities 38 The story became a documentary called "Lost Boys of Sudan" after the adjustment period of some refugees who came America.
Lomong was taken to Tully, NY when he was transferred to the United States Sudan. He graduated from the school secondary Tully and went to college at Northern Arizona University. Lomong became a U.S. citizen in 2007. Lomong is also part of the team Darfur, a group of athletes from different countries who want to draw attention to the crisis in Darfur.
History of the Lost Boys is not exactly the same as the current conflict in Darfur. The deaths occurred in different parts of Sudan and the various ethnic groups, however, to both the crisis have resulted in the deaths of millions of people.
